Cain has been a licensed broker since 1999 and is a member of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors. He is a part-time evening instructor at the Real Estate School of Charleston. Cain is a graduate of the College of Charleston and an alumnus of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and of the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society. Cain received a law degree from the Universty of South Carolina. During law school, Cain was a summer extern for federal judges in Charleston, SC, and for the United States Senate Armed Services Committe in Washington, DC. He is an alumnus of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. Following law school, Cain was a law clerk for a year for a South Carolina Circuit Court judge. In addition to being a real estate broker, Cain is a practicing attorney. He is also certified as an arbitrator and a mediator. After high school, he served a two-year enlistment in the United States Army with an honorable discharge. During college, he was recalled for Desert Storm and stationed in Germany. Cain is a graduate of the Wyatt Institue of Real Estate.
